Sydney Linux Users' GroupMembership is currently only $25 p.a., or $15 p.a. for for students, unemployed people and healthcare card holders (does not include GST, as we are not required to pay it) and entitles you to free or ultra low cost entry to all SLUG activities. Voting rights under the SLUG Inc. articles of association can only be pledged by current financial members.
To join, simply attend any SLUG monthly meeting or SLUG sponsored event and provide your name and email address to the SLUG representative - Cash or Cheque only. On the other hand if you wish to join and are currently unable to attend - simply send your name, address, phone number, email address and cheque to the SLUG Treasurer. Contact the treasurer if you wish to pay by direct deposit or other means. Contact details are available here
Corporate membership provides employees with the same access, attendance and discount privileges as individual memberships except a corporate membership is limited to a single voting right.
Corporate donations to support our user activites and Open Source (GPL) projects are very warmly received.

Along with individule membership, you may opt-in for a slug.org.au email address that forwards to your existing email address. This means that you can have you@slug.org.au point to you@someisp.com.au.
In order to provide this, we ask that you try to not have regular large emails sent through the address provided, and that you don't use the address for spamming or any illegal activities. SLUG holds the right to remove the alias at any time with or without prior notice if we find evidence that the address is being abused. Neither will SLUG be liable for any loss of mail.
